LGDI is a wonderful program. This first season (1948) was a tad rough. They changed actors after this year, and the later ones were superior. It's unusual among detective and troubleshooter shows, in that the Girl Friday was not just a secretary but a constant companion, always part of the action. Each episode was a unique situation with fully-formed extra characters who weren't just foils for the leading man.
